We look forward to welcoming you to the 19th European Meeting on Complement in Human Diseases (EMCHD2024) in the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lübeck from September 2nd - 6th 2024. (pdf)
The conference will kick off with an educational session known as “Teaching Day”, specifically designed for newcomers to the field. The Teaching Day is paralleled by a Satellite Symposium, at which distinguished lecturers from industry, basic science as well as clinicians will discuss the role of C3, C5 and their cleavage products as targets in inflammatory diseases. The day will end with a welcome reception in the historic St. Petri Church located in Lübeck’s oldtown, marking the start of the main conference.
At EMHCD 2024, you can expect three and one-half days filled with exciting scientific sessions that will explore most recent advances in the complement field and beyond with Profs. Christine Klein, Michail S. Lionakis, Henrik Oster, and Malte Spielmann as keynote speakers. In addition to stimulating science, we will offer a several social activities and attractions including a Hanseatic dinner at Lübeck’s seaside resort Travemünde.
