CCIM–LübeckandKiel

TheComprehensiveCentersforInflammationMedicine(CCIM)arelargeoutpatientclinicsforinflammatorydiseasesattheUniversityMedicalCenterSchleswig-HolsteininKielandLbeck.Throughclosecooperationbetweendifferentspecialists,theyenablethebestpossiblepatientcare.Thegoalofthecentersistofacilitateinterdisciplinarytreatmentofpatientswithseriouschronicinflammatorydiseasesasefficientlyandquicklyaspossible.TheCCIMsarealsoresponsibleforthecreationandcharacterizationofclinicalcohortsforresearchpurposes,andprovideaccesstonewtreatmentsanddiagnosticapproaches,mostofwhichhavebeendevelopedinthepredecessorcluster"InflammationatInterfaces".
