We are happy to announce the PhD Course on Gut Biology, taking place 20–23 April 2026 at Gl. Avernæs, Denmark!
The 3.5-day course for 35 PhD students (and early postdocs) includes keynote lectures by national and international experts, interactive workshops, poster sessions, and many opportunities for scientific exchange. Participants will present their own research, discuss ideas with peers, and receive constructive feedback in an open and collaborative setting. The course will cover fundamental aspects of gut biology and analytical methods, with a focus on topics such as host-microbe interactions, diet-microbiome dynamics, AI applications in microbiome research, and the role of the microbiome in metabolic and inflammatory diseases. Application:
To apply for a seat, you must submit an abstract. If you are selected for participation, you are expected to present your project in a poster session or oral presentation. Due to limited seats, you are not guaranteed a place until you receive a confirmation e-mail. Initial applications will be placed on a waiting list.
